Festival Fields Park Tree Planting
Event Description
Join us for a tree planting in Avondale at Festival Fields Park! The City of Avondale and Arizona Sustainability Alliance invites volunteers to roll up their sleeves for the 2024 Earth Week project. This day of service is mobilizing young people ages 12-18 to make an impact in honor of Earth Day and Arbor Day in April. Volunteers are needed to plant trees and shrubs and also participate in litter removal. Instruction and tools will be provided by Arizona Sustainability Alliance, Arizona Youth Conservation Workforce, and City staff. This event is part of the City of Avondale Teen Leadership and Youth Services programs which help prepare young people for adulthood and success in the future.
