Saguaro Monitoring Training

Event Description

Attend an online or in-person training to assist with the 2025/2026 Saguaro monitoring season with Friends of the Tonto National Forest!

This season, every saguaro you document adds to a growing base of conditional data that’s helping us track long-term ecological trends. Friends of the Tonto database is gaining recognition for its research value, and your contributions are at the heart of it. Whether you’re a seasoned monitor or joining us for the first time, your observations matter. Lets keep building this living archive- one cactus at a time!
