Maricopa County Seed Pellet Making Workshop Cave Creek
Event Description
Get ready to roll up your sleeves and help the desert grow!
Participants will learn how to create native seed pellets by mixing native seeds with clay, soil or compost, and water. You’ll also get a behind-the-scenes look at how native seeds are processed and prepared before they’re transformed into seed pellets.
This hands-on activity supports ecological restoration and helps give native plants a better chance to take root in the landscape. To learn more about the Maricopa County Parks Desert Defenders Program, visit: https://www.maricopacountyparks.net/about-us/desert-defenders/.
