Magic Microscope Lab
Event Description
Join the Metro Phoenix EcoFlora and artist Aimee Ollinger as we explore the microscopic world of plants. Aimee brings to the surface her abstracted conclusion of nature and biology from a microscopic and macroscopic perspective through mixed media.
We will be discussing basic botany, plants in art, and using hand lenses and a microscope to view plant parts in an exciting way. Class materials will be provided, all you need to bring is yourself! You are welcome to bring your own plant pieces to examine.
