Event Description

Become a Desert Defender and help find invasive plant species crowding the parks and preserves! Desert Defenders is a program focused on finding, mapping and removing invasive species at Maricopa County parks using a map-based mobile app.

We are looking for volunteers to help! Sign up for this training at San Tan Mountain Regional Park and be part of this amazing effort to restore our desert parks.

Yes! This event is free, but please register through Maricopa County Parks and Recreation’s volunteer website.
