Event Description

Become a Desert Defender and find invasive plant species crowding the parks and preserves! Desert Defenders is a program focused on finding, mapping and removing invasive species at Maricopa County and municipal parks using a map-based mobile app.

We are looking for volunteers to help! Sign up for this training at White Tank Regional Park and be part of an amazing effort to protect our desert parks.

Yes! This event is free, but please register through the Maricopa County Parks and Recreation volunteer website.
