Desert Defender March Removals

Event Description

Invasive species are one of the biggest threats to our park’s ecosystem health. Join the Desert Defenders program to help us find and remove these plants. This invasive species pulling event will focus on removal of invasive plants by pulling, bagging and disposing. Please use the follow links to sign up for your desired event:

March 2: Usery Mountain Regional Park
March 3 & March 11: Cave Creek Regional Park
March 4: Estrella Mountain Regional Park
March 11 & March 31: White Tank Mountain Regional Park
March 10 & March 30: Spur Cross Ranch Conservation Area

Registration required. Please bring gloves if possible. Dress appropriately for working around desert plants! Maricopa County Parks and Recreation adheres to state COVID-19 protocols including wearing a mask, social distancing and other safety protocols.
