Join us for an engaging discussion about mental health in conservation with licensed therapist Brittany Sawrey-Coulson from the Mederi Group in Scottsdale. In this session we will explore how to deal with complex emotions in conservation, the unique challenges the field presents for mental health, and how trauma informs and impacts our daily work. If you are looking for some practical understanding of how to navigate mental health within the field and a deeper understanding of your own experience, this talk is for you.

Brittany Sawrey-Coulson

Licensed Associate Counselor specializing in helping conservationists process psychological distress and trauma to lead full, resilient lives

 

My name is Brittany Sawrey-Coulson, and I’m a Licensed Associate Counselor in Scottsdale, AZ. My previous career is in conservation, where I worked primarily as a zookeeper and with NGOs, and I hold a MSc in Conservation Science from Imperial College London. My passion is to bring accessible mental health resources to conservationists, helping them to lead full, resilient lives.
