On this 1.8-mile hike along Waterfall Trail, Ranger Kevin will guide you as we seek the elusive desert tarantula, as well as a variety of desert animals that inhabit the night. Some other animals we might see include deer, owls, bats, skunks, javelina, fox, snakes and, scorpions. This trail is rated easy (first ½-mile is paved), but expect some loose rock, uneven surfaces, and some minor climbing along the unpaved segment. Be sure to bring plenty of water, hiking shoes and a flashlight. Restrooms are available at the trailhead. NO pets, please.
