AZGeo Data Hub

The AZGeo Data Hub is an initiative of the Arizona Geographic Information Council, developed in partnership with the Arizona State Land Department. AZGeo provides access to online map services, metadata, and geospatial data downloads, used by municipal, state,  tribal governments, private companies and the public to support the needs of Arizona’s residents.

CAP-LTER

The Central Arizona–Phoenix Long-Term Ecological Research is part of the network of LTER sites funded by the National Science Foundation. The CAP LTER program advances research and education on urban ecology and urban socioecological systems. They have been a leader in interdisciplinary science, bringing together teams of individuals from different fields to investigate the complex dynamics of the Phoenix metropolitan area and surrounding Sonoran Desert. They are committed to providing access to their research and data collected through the years.

SEINet

The SEINet data portal was created to serve as a gateway to distributed data resources of interest to the environmental research community within Arizona and New Mexico. SEINet is a suite of data access technologies and a distributed network of collections, museums and agencies that provide environmental information.

Invasive Species Clearninghouse

The McDowell Sonoran Conservancy built this invasive species clearinghouse to centralize important management resources around invasive plant species. The clearinghouse is focused on priority invasive species identified by managers in the region. For each invasive species, you will find information about that plant species and effective techniques for removal.

Lower Gila River Collaborative

The Lower Gila River Collaborative is a voluntary partnership, documented with a charter agreement, to restore the lower Gila River ecosystem while encouraging stewardship, recreation, and compatible development. The Lower Gila Collaborative focuses on the reach of the Gila River that spans from west Phoenix to Gillespie Dam, below Buckeye.
