Event Description

Join us at 11am to 2pm at Just Roughin’ It to learn some things about our public lands and the animals that inhabit them.
We’re teaming up with local heroes—from land management agencies to non-profits and desert animal rehab groups—to celebrate and protect the wild places we all love.
Stop by to meet the folks working behind the scenes to keep our trails open, our lands thriving, and our native critters safe. Expect education, inspiration, and maybe a few adorable rescued animals. It’s a day to get outside, give back, and geek out over public lands.
We will have Liberty Wildlife here with some educational raptors, Phoenix Herpetological Sanctuary with some reptiles and Arizona Bat Rescue with some bats and Southwest Wildlife Conservation Center with their amazing volunteers.

Tickets are not requited to attend the event.
IMPORTANT NOTE
There will be wild animals on the premises. We ask you leave pets at home and keep the kids under a watchful eye. Everyone participating are volunteers and are donating their time to share their knowledge with you. Please be respectful and yes, it is totally lame we have to say this.
