Observing Greenhouse Gases Through Annual Plants: Training by Southwest Integrated Field Laboratory

Event Description

Did you know that we can identify fossil fuel emissions in the air by sampling annual plants? The Southwest Urban Corridor Field Laboratory is analyzing pollution by taking samples of invasive plants. Our partner, Sky Island Alliance, has create a blog post about the project on this page. If you are located in Southern Arizona and want to get involved they are also hosting training events and registration can be found on that page. 

Join us at Desert Botanical Garden on March 20th as we learn more about how to get involved and why it matters.
